Established as a Limited Liability Company in 2009 owned by Mohammad Abdul Aziz Al-Rajhi & Sons for Industry Holding Co. In 1973 it started its business as the first factory of its type in the Middle East and subsequently expanded its operations to include five factories in Riyadh and one factory in Sudan.

Origins and Development

Four decades ago and specifically in the year 1973, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi, -founder of Island Appliance Co., Ltd., in the city of Riyadh (First Industrial Zone)- has established the first factory for Evaporative air coolers in the Middle East, with a vision of providing the new product to meet the needs of the local consumer.

Now, more than 750 workers are selected carefully and armed with the expertise necessary share and contribute to the same vision through 5 factories (4 in Saudi Arabia and 1 in Sudan) and 29 exhibition centers distributed throughout the Kingdom, in addition to the established network of distributors, backed by after-sales service excellence, providing 10 electrical appliances products and more than 70 models developed, covering commercial and residential needs in the Gulf and the Middle East.
